EA’s Battlefront II teased on the latest Star Wars Show (Update: battlefront2.com is live!)
Battlefront II received a minor teaser on today’s Star Wars Show.
One of the show’s hosts Anthony Carboni confirmed that a “full trailer” will drop this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. PT/2:30 p.m. ET during the worldwide reveal of Battlefront II at Star Wars Celebration. EA France previously mentioned on Twitter that a “long version” of the Battlefront II trailer was due out then. This likely indicates that the leaked teaser from yesterday is just a short spot or TV ad.
Additionally, there is a teaser image at battlefront2.com, although the site was not live at the time of writing. You can see the teaser image above (it was shown off on the show). Speculate away on what it means!
Edit: battlefront2.com is live! You have the option to sign up for the Star Wars newsletter and will receive “Not the Droids” emote.
Finally, the show’s other host, Andi Gutierrez hinted that “more will be revealed tomorrow at battlefront2.com” but she didn’t provide any further clues.
I’m currently sitting in the airport on my way to Star Wars Celebration (EA was kind enough to fly me out!), so I’ll be keen to see what else is planned for the game’s reveal over the coming days.
