Reveal of EA’s Battlefront II slated for April 15 at Star Wars Celebration!

Official Battlefront II teaser poster.

Hype for the next Battlefront is building.

According to a recent posting on the official Battlefront website, the next game’s reveal will happen on April 15 at  2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT during “The Galaxywide Premiere of Star Wars Battlefront II” panel at Star Wars Celebration. The panel will also include a trailer for the game.

The other big news is that EA referred to the game as “Battlefront II”, which seems like it’ll be the game’s official name. The teaser poster (as shown above) also uses the name “Battlefront II”.

Those that can’t make Celebration in Orlando, Florida will be able to watch the reveal panel online, likely through the official Star Wars YouTube channel.

I’m definitely looking forward to that trailer!

Update 12:50 p.m. PT: Battlefront producer Paul Keslin confirmed that the name “Battlefront II” is official, in case there was any doubt:
