Battlefront hero fixes coming: Stun locks, Vader multitasking & more!

Darth Vader choking in Battlefront.

Not much Battlefront news has surfaced recently. However, thanks to the game’s hero designer Guillaume Mroz, we have a bit better idea for what’s coming for heroes.

To start, Mroz mentioned that he is “starting to see the light” for the Rogue One DLC:

It certainly sounds like the heroes for Battlefront’s final expansion (Jyn Erso and Director Krennic) are close to being finished. This is certainly great news!

Next, Mroz confirmed that several fixes are in testing:

Additionally, Mroz is working on making stun locks “less of an issue” for heroes. This is good to hear as stun locks temporarily lock up a hero when they’ve been attacked by a lightsaber. Stun locks in their current form make 1v1 battles clunky and a pain.

Finally, Mroz teased:

My guess is that this pertains to Vader being able to multitask while choking someone. A forum user suggested this particular fix (roughly the eighth bullet point from the bottom) a few weeks back.

Definitely good to see some communication from those working on Battlefront! While a patch may not be due out until the Rogue One DLC, it looks like a fair number of things will be fixed when the game is updated.
