What’s up with Battlefront’s Live Events Calendar page?

Edit: As of November 9, 2016, the calendar has been updated for the month of November.

Battlefront’s Live Events Calendar, which was introduced last July, is an excellent idea.

Unfortunately, EA hasn’t updated the page since July. What gives?

The page is meant to show what’s coming up in the world of Battlefront. It did just that—excellently I might add—from July to September. It was also referenced in this month’s “Coming Soon” post:

Be sure to keep an eye on our Live Events page to see what else is coming up in-game.

The fact that it hasn’t been updated is quite interesting, especially because we’ve already had two “events” that would’ve been perfect for the page: Heroes Halloween and the Cybernetic Female customization drop. Including those events in the calendar might’ve saved the community some confusion.

Thanks to the same “Coming Soon” post, we do know that there’ll be a DLC free trial and 4X score event from November 18-20. However, there’s still the CJ-9 Bo-Rifle and the (officially) unannounced Hero Blast mode. Updating the Live Events page would help give the community something to look forward to, and perhaps inject some excitement back into the game.

Battlefront producer Paul Keslin, who wrote the “Coming Soon” post, said he’d ping the web team, but nothing’s come of it yet:

Anyways, this isn’t a huge deal. I just thought it was curious that the Live Events page doesn’t include any events post-September. Hopefully we’ll get a better idea what’s ahead for Battlefront in the near future. I’ll definitely stay up-to-date and will do a post should EA update it.
