Battlefront: New update for Supremacy server sorrows soon?

Battlefront’s Supremacy mode has been seeing server problems of late: players are getting randomly booted, as well as experiencing general lag.

Thankfully, a fix looks to be on the horizon.

“We’re toying with a potential update that will help with issues but we need to do some testing,” Battlefront producer Paul Keslin wrote on the official forums. “Initial look at the update was promising but we need to put it through our process to see if it holds up. Hopefully more info in the next couple days!”

This is very good news!

My guess is that this’ll be a server-side-only patch; regardless, it’s always good to see improvements to the game. This is especially true for Supremacy as the random player boots seem somewhat widespread.
