No Battlefront patch until Death Star, according to mod
Battlefront will be getting one Hutt Contract tomorrow, but the item won’t bring a patch alongside it.
This information came from Jaywal, who is a mod on the game’s official forums.
“We will only be getting a new Hutt Contract tomorrow,” he wrote in a post. “That is it. No patch until Death Star.”
This means that whatever Hutt Contract drops tomorrow will function similar to how the Beserker trait worked in April; the item will be unlocked via the servers without the need to download something onto your system.
It also isn’t too surprising as we hadn’t heard anything today about server downtimes (which are normally required for a client-side patch) and a lot of the patch-related comments from developers recently seemed to revolve around the Death Star update.
EA/DICE has yet to officially reveal what Hutt Contract will be arriving tomorrow, but be sure to check back as we’ll stay up to date on the topic.
