EA/DICE looking into hero-centric problems in Battlefront

After yesterday’s server-side patch, a producer confirmed that the Battlefront dev team is looking into issues centered around heroes.

The issues specifically is question are: invisible heroes in Heroes vs Villains, the multi-hero glitch, hero freeze screens in the Outer Rim playlist and a black screen after selecting a hero.

“Yep, we’re tracking those as well,” wrote Paul Keslin on the official forums. “They’re not as widely impacting the way these lag/disconnects/crashes are, but we’re looking at them as well.”

I’ve personally experienced the hero freeze screen in Extraction (as well as playing against Dengar instead of Boba Fett on SoroSuub Refinery in Extraction) and then also the multi-hero glitch.

The multi-hero glitch seemed to start popping up after the Bespin free trial a few weeks ago. It mostly pertains to Walker Assault, but I believe I’ve also heard of it affecting in Supremacy.

As many as six have been able to spawn in at once:

Regardless, this a very strange glitch and it messes with balancing in Walker Assault. Hopefully this, along with the other hero-based bugs, can be fixed soon!
