New Battlefront II deep dive details Rey with an awesome image
A new page on the official Battlefront II website includes a look at how Rey will work in the upcoming game.
While the details shared on the page aren’t particularly new—they’re just her abilities, which were revealed at EA PLAY in June—it does include a brand new image of the character (shown above; here’s the full resolution link).
Here’s the text from the page:
Rey uses the power of the Force to confuse and defeat enemies.. Her three unique character abilities are:
- Dash Strike: Rey charges forward with her lightsaber held high, dealing damage to enemies who dare stand in the way.
- Mind Trick: Rey causes nearby enemies to be dazed and confused for a brief period of time.
- Insight: Rey takes a moment to deeply sense her surroundings, revealing and highlighting all nearby enemies.
Hopefully this means we’ll be getting new pages like this into the future—ideally with characters we don’t know much about, like Yoda or perhaps even characters that are yet to be revealed.
While this image is pretty cool, I’m certainly more keen to see Rey in her look from The Last Jedi. Revealed in May, Rey’s outfit from the upcoming movie will be given out to those that pre-order the game. We have seen a movie still of the outfit, but no actual renders from the game itself.
