Get a kick of nostalgia with this Battlefront II trailer mash-up

From “Watch those wrist rockets!” to “It’s Maul—stay back!” there are plenty of classic quotes in Pandemic’s Battlefront II.

While “Watch those wrist rockets!” might make it into EA’s Battlefront II, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to see more lines from the original redone in this year’s version. Thankfully, we don’t have to work very hard to imagine what that might be like thanks to the work of YouTube channel SnipeEm.

SnipeEm recently remixed the Battlefront II gameplay trailer and it works perfectly. The trailer opens with a callback to the original Battlefront II’s campaign and then sprinkles in lines from that first game. From hearing battle droids utter “Eradicate the clones” to yells of “For the Republic!” the remix simply flows. And—of course—it really gives a rush of nostalgia for those of us that grew up with Pandemic’s Battlefront II.

This isn’t the first mash-up between the two games. Just over a week ago, a different fan recreated the gameplay trailer in the original Battlefront II.
