A fan recreated the Battlefront II gameplay trailer in the original Battlefront II
Last weekend’s Battlefront II gameplay trailer showcased the game’s biggest draws, from multiple eras to Darth Maul. As the game shares its name with another Battlefront, some fans decided to remake the trailer using Pandemic’s Battlefront II from 2005.
This trailer remake comes by way of YouTube channel Angry Ewok. Besides using assets from the original game, a few modded maps make it in, too. And, of course, it includes a remade “Sector not clear!” bit as well. It’s overall a fascinating look at how games have evolved—at least graphically—in the past 12 years. Check it out below:
In other trailer news, Polygon reported that the Battlefront II gameplay trailer was the most-watched trailer during the week of E3. Battlefront II topped Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey for the No. 1 spot with 8.7 million views to 5.5 million. Other most-viewed games during E3 week included Assassin’s Creed Origins, FIFA 18 and Call of Duty: World War II.
