New video delves into Battlefront II’s massive scale, plus Sam Witwer talks (or doesn’t talk) Darth Maul

Darth Maul in the Battlefront II trailer.

EA has been promising that Battlefront II will be massive in size when it releases later this year.

A new video from the PlayStation YouTube channel plays off that promise. Unfortunately—like Friday’s video—there’s nothing really new.

However, I figured I should still share it as it might provide a better sense for what to expect in Battlefront II. I’ve embedded it below:

An official blog post called this “the final part” of PlayStation’s interview with Battlefront II’s senior development staff.

While the second Battlefront will surely be larger than EA’s first attempt, we still don’t have an exact representation of how much larger. EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson said earlier in the month that the game will contain “three times” the content of the first game, but even that doesn’t give an exact idea.

Also, Twitter user Nien Squad asked Sam Witwer on Twitch if he’ll reprise Darth Maul in Battlefront II. This was Witwer’s response:

Personally, I think that this indicates Witwer will be voicing Maul in Battlefront II, especially because he says he can’t “answer these questions”. Witwer did a marvelous job as Maul in The Clone Wars series (and voiced Palpatine in the last Battlefront), so it would be fitting for him to reprise the role this time around. However, I still wouldn’t say it’s 100-percent confirmed that Witwer is voicing Maul.

Battlefront II will arrive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17. Follow along with the latest Battlefront II news by liking SWGO on Facebook or following on Twitter.
