These EA Battlefront II concept art pieces sure look rather gorgeous

Beyond Battlefront II’s reveal trailer, we’ve had a few glimpses into the creative process for EA’s upcoming Star Wars game.

During the reveal panel we saw several concept pieces, from pieces that depicted the storms of Kamino to art that visualized the frigid nature of Hoth. EA has since shared high-resolution versions of those images (plus several new ones) and I’ve included them down below.

I’ve also made sure to provide links to the full resolution image of each concept piece (the image at the top of the page just comes from the panel’s Twitch stream). Mobile users should be warned that some of the full-sized images can be multiple MBs in size.

Note that all the below images are of concept art. That means they do not necessarily represent the finished product of Battlefront II. However, they may give us clues as to what we might expect when the game releases November 17.

This first piece is of the second Death Star. I’ll be curious if any interior Death Star maps feature the Empire’s second effort, as the first game included only maps from inside the first battle station.

Next we have Hoth. The three highlights here are the ion canon, the hangar and the Rebel riding a tauntaun.

Here is a crashed Star Destroyer on Jakku. Not really much to add, except that it looks pretty awesome.

This next image appears to possibly be inside part of a downed Star Destroyer. Playing among the wreckage of a Star Destroyer would definitely be pretty cool.

Another image of what may be inside the Star Destroyer. Note the giant radar ball.

Here’s a concept piece visualizing the actual battle of Jakku. We’ve seen this conflict realized in the full reveal trailer.

Seeing the Slave I take on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Star Fighter is definitely pretty cool. Hopefully both these hero ships (and their respective heroes) make their way into the final game.

The next concept bit of Kamino is jam-packed with details. From the Slave I taking off to the clone troopers with jump packs to the LAAT Gunship in the background, I really want this moment to come to life when the game releases.

This image conceptualizes a tight street in Mos Eisley.

The highlight of this image is the crashed AAT Hover Tank. Besides that, Theed City on Naboo really looks like it could provide interesting urban warfare.

Vardos looks very striking in this concept piece. The grays and reds certainly play nicely off each other.

This concept piece is of a couple of stormtroopers running through ruins on Yavin IV.

Perhaps I’m just imagining things, but the lone figure taking cover behind the hover transport bears an uncanny resemblance to the bounty hunter Dengar.
