Cassian Andor now in Galaxy of Heroes; Emperor’s Demise next week

Cassian Andor in Rogue One.

Rogue One’s Cassian Andor has arrived to Galaxy of Heroes in the mobile title’s latest update.

Revealed as a new unit in the latest update notes on the official forums, his description reads:

A Rebel support character, Cassian gives his Rebel allies buffs at the start of each encounter, giving an immense advantage from the very start of a battle. An accomplished tactician, Cassian is best utilized to cripple his enemies with debuffs, leaving them easy pickings for his allies to finish off. He also has great synergy with K-2SO!

Additionally, a tournament to unlock the character will start December 21.

The other big news in the update notes is that the Emperor’s Demise event will return on December 23. The particulars for that event can be found on a different forum post:

  • Requires: Rebels
  • For levels 20-85
  • Rewards: Emperor Palpatine shards

Omega Battles will also be featured in the first and third weekend of January. You’ll be able to earn Ability Material Omega pieces in these battles.

Finn in The Force Awakens.

Additionally, Finn will be January’s log-in character and will see a rework in an update next month (and not in this update):

  • Finn now deals more bonus damage with “Crack Shot,” and has increased chances to Expose and Stun his enemies with “Takedown.”
  • “Hold the Line” now grants increased healing, and shares that healing with Poe Dameron. Additionally, the Omega upgrade for this ability now gives Finn the ability to dispel all debuffs from all allies!
  • “Balanced Tactics” has been reworked to grant more Offense, and much more Defense. This ability also gains a brand new Zeta upgrade, giving your Resistance allies more synergy with Foresight and Expose.

Several other topics received mention in the notes as well, including Cantina Battles Double Drops, a new Rogue One bundle, a Tank Takedown Raid re-balance and a list of bug that were fixed. Head on over to the official forums to read the entire notes.
