[Reminder] Battlefront now available on EA, Origin Access services

Those that own subscriptions to either EA Access or Origin Access now have the ability to play Battlefront at no additional charge.

The game is the latest to join the Access Vault. EA originally announced Battlefront would arrive to the Vault back in October.

EA Access is available on Xbox One while Origin Access is available through EA’s Origin platform on PC. No EA subscription service is currently available on PS4.

Note that the Access Vault only includes the base version of Battlefront and doesn’t contain the Season Pass or any of the four expansions. However, you can currently purchase the Season Pass separately on either the Xbox Store or the Origin Store for US$29.99.

Hopefully Battlefront’s inclusion will result in a boost to the overall size of the player base. However, because EA doesn’t reveal the number of Access subscriptions, the exact impact will be unknown.

EA Access and Origin Access are subscription-based services that cost $4.99 per month (Xbox users can also purchase a yearly subscription at $29.99). Users with active subscriptions may play any of the 30-plus games in the Vault. The service also provides pre-order discounts for select games, as well as early access trials for select games.
