Get ready for EA’s Battlefront 2 to arrive next fall.

The company’s CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed that the sequel will arrive “a year from now” in an earnings call earlier today. This certainly seems to imply that the game will launch in the fall of 2017.

He added: “We’re working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering.”

About Star Was in general, Jorgensen said: “We’re obviously building out on the Star Wars franchise that has proven to be very successful for us. So you’ll see new Star Wars products coming out in the future.”

Earlier in May, Jorgensen announced that the Battlefront sequel would ship “next year.” That statement was a little ambiguous, because he may have meant next calendar year (2017) or next fiscal year (2018). With his statements now, however, things are a little more clear.

Jorgensen also said previously that the next Battlefront is to showcase “bigger and better worlds” while utilizing content from “the new movies.”

The game is currently in co-development by DICE, the studio that made the 2015 Battlefront, and Motive, a brand new studio headed by Assassins Creed veteran Jade Raymond.

Motive will be “building out a significant new addition to the game.” With this in mind, some have speculated that the Montreal-based studio is crafting a campaign—which EA’s first foray into the Battlefront series lacks—but no official confirmation on the topic has arrived yet.

“There’s no point in making something in the Star Wars IP if you’re just going to do what’s been done before,” said Motive’s game director Mark Thompson in EA Star War’s “Look Ahead” trailer. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for Motive to really tell the world what we’re about and we’re going to bring that to Battlefront, which is crazy. It’s incredible.”

Jorgensen also hinted today that Motive Studios is working on an action title set for “three or four years out.” It’s unclear if this title is centered around Star Wars. Another EA studio, Respawn, which crafted Titanfall, has been confirmed to be working on a Star Wars third-person action adventure.
