Battlefront dev calls Rogue One DLC “really cool”

Death Troopers on Scarif in Rogue One.

Battlefront has just one more expansion pack to go.

With the Outer Rim, Bespin and the Death Star all completed, the Star Wars shooter is set to release Rogue One: Scarif this December.

As members of DICE’s Battlefront team are working on the pack, level artist Daniel Cambrand voiced his thoughts via Twitter.

“I think Rogue One will be a very appreciated pack,” he wrote on Twitter. “Looking really cool so far.”

One thing I will note is that even though it’s great to hear Cambrand be excited for the DLC, it’s natural for him to feel that way because he’s involved in the project.

Still, I’m looking forward to the DLC and hopefully it’ll contain some of those shoretroopers.

No precise release date is set for the expansion, beyond the more general target of December. However, the Rogue One movie will arrive in theaters on December 16.
